Fergie’s good luck message
SIR ALEX FERGUSON may be well enough to send Manchester United’s players a good luck message ahead of the FA Cup Final.
The ex-united boss, 76, is still recovering in Salford Royal Hospital, a week after undergoing a life-saving operation after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
His health scare left Jose Mourinho’s players shocked and upset. But Fergie is out of intensive care now and undergoing rehabilitation as an in-patient. And the improvement in his condition could enable him to send a message of support to Mourinho and his squad ahead of their Wembley showdown with Chelsea on Saturday. The FA Cup was the first of 38 trophies Fergie (above) lifted as United manager – his team beating Crystal Palace in a replay in 1990.
