Pair strike it rich in €2m lottery win

TWO lucky Irish punters started their June Bank Holiday in style after winning a combined €2million in Friday’s Euromillions draw.

Players in Waterford are being urged to check their tickets after a slip worth €1.5million was sold in Tramore with the winning code I-DTG-57033.

Meanwhile, a Mayo punter is also in the money after scooping €500,000 in Friday night’s Daily Million Plus draw.

The winning ticket was sold at the Newstand store on Market Square, Castlebar.

The numbers were 15, 19, 25, 28, 32, 39 and the bonus was seven.
