Film fans are evacuated in cinema alarm

-

A THEATRE was evacuated yesterday after the fire alarm went off.

Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the Stella Theatre in Rathmines.

Everyone inside during the early viewings was evacuated at around 11am.

The cinema said on Twitter: “Apologies to everyone who popped in to us for our early screening this morning and had to be evacuated.

“Thankfully nothing serious caused our alarm activation and all afternoon screenings will be going ahead as normal.

“Thanks for your patience and understanding.”
