Cumberbatch saves cyclist from attack
Benedict SHERLOCK star Benedict Cumberbatch reportedly saved a cyclist under attack on Friday night.
The incident took place near London’s Baker Street – the home of his infamous TV character Sherlock Holmes.
Cumberbatch, 41, is said to have seen a Deliveroo cyclist being beaten up by four people as he and his wife Sophie Hunter were driving past in an Uber.
The Avengers: Infinity War star told the driver to pull in before rushing to the man’s aid.
The cabbie Manuel Dias said: “Benedict was courageous, brave and selfless. If he hadn’t stepped in the cyclist could have been seriously injured.
“He seemed to know exactly what he was doing.”
