Ramsay: Oz cooks better than British

HELL’S Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay has given UK chefs a filleting – claiming Aussies are better cooks.

The US Masterchef judge says even Australian amateurs beat British pros.

Ramsay, 51, said: “You see Masterchef UK and they go and get fish and it’s filleted for them. Or they grab a bunch of parsley.

“In Masterchef Australia you go and dig up the f***ing herbs in the garden yourself. The fish are whole and they have to gut them, scale them and fillet them. Nothing is done for them.

“The food in Australia’s Masterchef is better than some of the professionals in France and England. Get your s**t together!”

Ramsay – who has won 16 Michelin stars – said: “Australian cuisine is at its all-time best.”
