Bev’s feeling better than ever after op

SINGER Beverley Knight says she is “fighting fit” after a hysterectomy.

The soul star, 45, had the procedure to remove noncancerous growths in her uterus last year.

Bev – wed to production technician James O’keefe, 45 – told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “I’ve never been better. I feel really good.”

The UK singer also revealed the secret to her success in the last 23 years.

“It’s down to a love of what I do, a willingness to work hard and making good decisions,” said the Come As You Are singer.

One of those decisions was to shun several reality TV offers, added Bev.

She is very proud to be playing suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst in a musical at The Old Vic theatre, London, this September.
