Can you tell me how much my Ronald Mcdonald drinking glass is worth? These were given out as part of a free promo in Woolwich, South East London, when the UK’S first Mcdonald’s opened in 1974. In 1997 a set was created with all the dogs from 101 Dalmatians. The full collection can fetch €300. Your glass is probably worth €10 to €20.

I have a slightly dog-eared copy of the first Television Magazine dated March 1928. What’s it worth? Joyce Edghill, via email A This is really interesting – people forget just how early TV was on the scene. The mag was published in London by The Television Press and was the world’s first TV journal. The cover depicted a couple watching the opera on telly – as we all do! – and featured an article headlined Seeing Across the Atlantic. It was the official journal of the Television Society, and 1928 was a watershed year as TV shifted from a curiosity to viable technology. Your item should be worth a mag-nificent €75 to €125.
