He said no to boob job

I’m 24 and I’ve had the same boyfriend since school. The other day I said I wanted to go from brown to blonde and maybe get a boob job. I asked if it was OK and he blew a fuse and said no.

If you ask for an opinion, you have to be prepared for an answer you don’t like. Like it or not, our looks are fundamental to a relationship. What would you think if he changed his appearance without running it by you? But you should not need his approval and he has no right to dictate. Relationships are about balance, not control. You’ve lasted many years so talk this one through until you’re both happy.
