Netflix boss gets boot for ‘N word’ in meetings
A NETFLIX boss has been has sacked for using the ‘N-word’.
Head of communications Jonathan Friedland first shocked colleagues with his language in a public relations meeting about offensive words in comedy.
A few days later, in talks with human resources about the incident, he is said to have used the term again in front of two black employees.

Then at a later meeting with the Black Employees@netflix group, Mr Friedland allegedly failed to mention the episode, which was seen as failure to accept accountability for his words.
Netflix chief Reed Hastings said: “Unfortunately, his lack of judgment in this area was too big for him to remain.”
Friedland later tweeted an apology for being “insensitive”, adding: “I feel awful about the distress this lapse caused.”
During his seven years at Netflix, it has become a major force online, valued at £106billion with 125 million subscribers.
