It’s been a bizarre, bumpy year for
who faced a backlash after endorsing Donald Trump. Now his close pal
reckons the rapper and his wife
are being used by the President.
“Him and Kim are the Trump whisperers, right?” he laughs. “We’re all being used – you just don’t let people misuse you.
“His homes plan is phenomenal. I think that’s the next thing he’ll be knocking on Trump’s door about – see if he’ll give up some money so he can build some nice, affordable houses for poor people.” He is also encouraging Kanye to go to therapy following his bipolar admission. Like most of us, he was surprised by his controversial TMZ appearance in which he claimed slavery “sounds like choice”.
Speaking at the MTV Movie and TV Awards in California, Charlamagne adds: “Most of the time when I speak to Kanye he’s in a cool state of mind. I guess he was off his meds that day.”
