Karaoke high note on €17m Corden deal
JAMES Corden is set for a €17million deal to stay on US TV for at least another four years.
The 39-year-old comic has verbally agreed with CBS boss Les Moonves he will extend his current deal as host of the channel’s The Late Late Show.
The star, who shot to fame on the BBC’S Gavin and Stacey, gained a huge US following thanks to skits such as Carpool Karaoke.
Top names including Michelle Obama and this week Sir Paul Mccartney have joined him for the turns, where celebrities sing with him as they drive.
An LA source said: “The deal will see his earnings at least 50 per cent up on his first three years.”
