‘ENGLAND HAVE NO STARS’

- BY DARREN LEWIS

PANAMA coach Hernan Dario Gomez insists England’s starting XI leak blunder is no help at all.

Gomez (below) said: “It doesn’t matter who plays for England, because if one doesn’t play the other is just as good. Our own line-up will be exactly the same as against Belgium.

“The Panama team that starts the match is the one with the most experience, that’s one of our assets.

“We are very organised and tactical too.

“England are going to be our hardest match by far. They don’t have a lot of individual stars like Belgium and Eden Hazard, but they work well as a team, especially on ball recovery. “England are an excellent team. They are going to be a very tough nut to crack. “They recover ball-possession very quickly, they speed up play very quickly and have a one-touch approach that is amazing. “They also have a great deal of depth on the bench.”
