Farney go goal crazy

Waterford 0-9 Monaghan 5-21 All-ireland SFC Qualifier Rnd 2 MONAGHAN got their season back up and running with a demolition job at Fraher Field yesterday.

After bowing out of Ulster at the hands of Fermanagh, Monaghan were in no mood for mercy and Conor Mcmanus, Karl O’connell, Fintan Kelly, Dessie Mone and Shane Carey all hit the net.

Remarkably, 15 different players were on target for the Ulster side who led by 3-11 to 0-4 at the interval.
