DEFENDING champion Roger Federer reached the final of the Halle Open with a victory over American qualifier Denis Kudla.

The Swiss star (above) took his unbeaten run on grass to 20 matches with a 7-6 (7-1) 7-5 win in the German tournament.

He faces 21-year-old Croatian Borna Coric in today’s final.
