Trump son caddied away on Irish links

SECURITY was tight in Co Clare yesterday where US President Donald Trump’s son played golf.

Eric hit theold course at Lahinch which will host the Irish Open next year.

The 34-year-old arrived in Shannon from new York on Friday onboard the family’s luxury private jet.

He was whisked away amid tight security to his family’s property in Doonbeg, West Clare, to begin his private visit.

Trump Internatio­nal golf Links and Hotel was purchased by Donald Trump in 2014.

One golfer said: “I knew there was something goingon wheni saw the guards. There were a few others with dark glasses that looked out of place.”
