Best defence? Anti-terror trucks

GIANT lorries are being used to shield World Cup venues from terror attacks.

They are parked across roads to create exclusion areas at fan zones and grounds. The move is aimed at reducing the threat from terrorists leaving bombs in vehicles or driving into crowds. There are 40,000 security personnel and 4,400 armed response vehicles at the tournament.
