Lewis skirts around issue in kilt for GQ
Lewis Hamilton LEWIS Hamilton has put on a kilt to “make amends” for mocking his nephew for wearing a dress.
The F1 star caused uproar last December by shaming the lad in a video for wearing a pink and purple “princess dress” saying: “Boys don’t wear Christmas dresses!”
The 33-year-old Mercedes driver who has won the World Championship four times later said sorry for his actions.
Now the racer has gone further by wearing the skirt-inspired Tommy Hilfiger outfit in a photoshoot for GQ as a “public acknowledgement” of his mistake.
He told the magazine: “As men we need to think more. It’s about being open-minded.”
