Sweet €16k win for Lotto bet punter

AN Irish punter has landed €16,000 after a lucky win in Friday’s Euromillions.

The Cork customer placed their €11 Treble on the three numbers 1, 4 and 14 to be drawn during the main draw.

Defying odds of 1,500/1, it secured €16,511 for the Rebel, who wishes to remain anonymous.
