Student killed after protest

AT least one student has died in a church attack where protesters had sheltered after violence erupted in Nicaragua.

The group who had been taking part in a national strike day came under attack from paramilitaries on Friday.

Protesters have been demanding the resignation of President Daniel Ortega.

So far more than 300 people have died during months of anti-government protests.
