- BY KAREN ROCKETT

Victims of outrage UP to 150 people including a political candidate have been killed by two suicide bombers at election rallies in Pakistan.

Last night national mourning was declared as both Islamic State and Pakistan’s Taliban claimed reponsibility for the toll, including 200 wounded.

The bomb blasts in south-western Pakistan came as former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, 68, returned from Britain and was immediately arrested.

Mr Sharif, who was sentenced in Pakistan last week to 10 years for alleged corruption, has vowed to take part in the July 25 poll.

Friday’s bombing was the deadliest attack since the Taliban assaulted an army-run school in 2014, killing 141 people, 132 of them children. Home-grown cannabis
