Mollie unearthed evidence on her husband’s phone Mollie’s dad warned her off Cooper Perv struck here

Mollie Clarke, 21, thought Richard Cooper, 26, was glued to his phone because he was having an affair.

Instead, the fast food worker had fixed his mobile to a bin and filmed diners thought to be as young as five.

Cooper had also secretly recorded his wife at home. Devastated Mollie, who has waived her anonymity to talk, went straight to police after stumbling across the videos after Cooper left his phone on charge.

She said: “It was the worst moment of my life. I felt physically sick, I thought I was going to throw up.”

But Cooper, who targeted KFC customers in Coleraine, Co Derry, dodged jail when his case came to court last month. He was convicted of four counts of voyeurism and given two years probation after pleading guilty at Antrim Crown Court.

Mollie said: “He’s a danger to the public. I can’t believe I married someone so sick.

Seeing film of this poor girl made me sick. My husband violated her MOLLIE CLARKE TELLING OF HORROR AT PHONE VID

STRAPPED

“He’d been glued to his phone for months and he was very protective of it. I wondered if he might be having an affair. “One day, I picked it up. Nothing could prepare me for what I saw. He had lots of videos, so I played one to see what it was. “To my horror, it showed a little girl in what looked like public loos. “The poor, unsuspecting girl had been violated in the most disgusting of ways – and by my husband.” Mollie, who works for a pest control firm, gave the phone to cops and they retrieved reams of videos. During the court case, it emerged Mollie had been a victim too. She went on: “He strapped his mobile to our washing basket and filmed me on the toilet. I felt absolutely disgusted and I broke down. How could my own husband do this? “He should have been jailed. We live in the same town and I try my best to avoid him. He makes me sick.” Mollie is in a new relationship and added: “I’m glad I learned to trust again after being betrayed and violated in the most awful way. Looking back, I always had niggling doubts about Richard. “In the car on the way to my wedding, my dad said: ‘It’s not too late to turn back’. I wish I’d listened to my gut instinct.” geraldine. mckelvie@ trinitymirror.com
