Long hot summer

Rosanna and co soak up 26C sun at Marlay Park for sold-out festival

- BY CORMAC BYRNE

More than 40,000 descended on Marlay Park as rapper Travis Scott headlined on the main stage, while celebrities were spied enjoying glorious conditions. UFC star Conor Mcgregor was spotted taking selfies with fans on the opening day of the Dublin festival, while Rosanna Darren Kennedy and January Winters Jenny Creavy, Rebecca Dooley and Carragh Sweeney Acts Jafaris, Kormac and duo Saint Sister Davison, Wes Quirke and Eoghan Mcdermott were pictured yesterday.

But festival fanatics have been warned the best of the weather has passed with today’s forecast looking less promising.

Solanage and SZA will be among the main acts on the final day, but Met Eireann is predicting a dull affair, with some unsettled patches.

A spokesman said: “Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with patches of rain and drizzle, still very humid with top temperatures of 22C.”
