Enders star’s showbiz pals missing from funeral

The couple had three sons. After a messy divorce Leslie revealed he was homeless but later bought a flat in Bulgaria and found love with a local woman. He returned to the UK as cancer ravaged his body.
Leslie played the Albert Square rogue Dirty Den from 1985 to 1989. He made a surprise return to the soap in September 2003. The reappearance of his character was an immediate ratings hit, with 16 million viewers tuning in to watch Den utter the words “Hello, princess” to his adopted daughter, Sharon.
