GAME, set and matching co-ords – Wimbledon 2018 has had the eyes of the world glued to the antics on and off court. After a fortnight of fierce competition, the most prestigious sporting occasion in the calendar wraps up today with the Men’s singles final.
The tennis may be the main event but the A-list star’s fashion has been stealing a lot of the attention. While there isn’t a strict dress code for Wimbledon – unless you’re in the Royal Box or VIP suite, then it’s no trainers – the general attire is sophisticated, and many famous faces have been dressing up to the nines for their big day out.
As tradition goes, tennis whites have been incorporated into the VIP set’s outfits as seen on pregnant Pippa Middleton who has been stealing the show this year.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister sported a summery white dress as she cheered on British stars Johanna Konta and Kyle Edmund from the royal box last week.
She showed just a hint of a baby bump in a flowing Anna Mason broderie anglaise dress, which she paired with blue wedge espadrilles.
For her second outing at Wimbledon, Pippa, 34, wrapped her neat bump in a blue linen shirt dress by Ralph Lauren, teamed with her favourite summer footwear to watch South African Kevin Anderson beat Roger Federer on No1 Court.
Fashion royalty Alexa Chung and Poppy Delevingne have also being holding court at the tournament. Both fashion stars wore Ralph Lauren for the occasion, with Chung opting for a breezy white dress and Delevingne going for a graphic tee and miniskirt.
Florals were also a big hit among the A List attendees with pop star Ellie Goulding making a statement in trademark Erdem floral.
Model Erin O’connor sported a suitably-floral Emilia Wickstead ensemble at Wimbledon, paired with oversized Zanzan shades while Youtuber and author Niomi Smart opted for in an ethereal Ralph Lauren gown while attending the Men’s quarter-finals on Wednesday.
