Passengers on P&O Cruises’ Iona will be able to enjoy aged steaks at the new-concept Keel and Cow gastropub when she launches in May 2020.

Other dining options include the debut of The Quays piazza foodie market, home to a wide range of self-service and takeaway venues.

Also among the 30 eateries on board will be old favourites such as The Glass House, with charcuterie and cheese and around 40 wines by the glass chosen by expert Olly Smith.

The 180,000 gross tonnage, Lng-powered Iona is being built in Papenburg, Germany, and cruises are on sale in September. A sister ship is on order for delivery in 2022.

The launch of Scenic Eclipse, the world’s first discovery yacht, has been moved from August to January after “construction issues” at the shipyard in Croatia.
