BALE SET FOR REAL BIG WEEK

- BY JOHN RICHARDSON

GARETH BALE faces a crunch meeting with new Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui this week.

Bale was back in his hometown of Cardiff last week to visit his new bar Elevens and told friends he is “open minded” about his future.

After scoring twice in Real Madrid’s Champions League Final victory over Liverpool the 28-year-old (right) hinted his future could be away from The Bernabeu. Manchester United are big fans of the £90million-rated striker.

He was frustrated under manager Zinedine Zidane, and having to play in the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo.

But with Zidane and Ronaldo now gone, Bale is anxious to discover from new boss Lopetegui where he stands in the former Spain manager’s plans.
