Man’s anger over death of poisoned cat
Pet cat O’malley A MAN has hit out after his cat was poisoned “by scum”.
Photographer Kevin Mcauley came home to find the pet sick but despite a visit to the vet it could not be saved.
It is understood the incident may be one of a number of poisonings of pets in the Ballycastle area of Co Antrim.
In a Facebook post, Mr Mcauley said the cat, named O’malley, was “murdered by scum”.
He added: “I appeal to pet owners to be aware of this trash who are roaming the streets laying boobytraps for defenceless animals.
“They would do it to humans if they thought they could get away with it. O’malley RIP.”
