£50M SILVA LINING FOR HORNETS
EVERTON’S club-record £50million move for Brazilian star Richarlison has eased relations with Watford over Marco Silva.
The Hornets fell out with the Blues over the pursuit of then-watford boss Silva last November, refusing compensation of around £15m.
But it’s understood that Everton have agreed a generous fee for the forward (left) to help smooth the rift between the clubs over Silva, 41, who took over at Goodison in May. It will also mean Watford making a £40m profit on a player signed from Fluminense only last summer.
Meanwhile, Everton’s £22m offer for Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne has been accepted and it’s up to the player whether he wants to leave the Nou Camp.
