Gemma splits from Towie boyfriend
TOWIE star Gemma Collins has dumped co-star James “Arg” Argent over his hard partying.
The pair won viewers’ hearts when Arg vowed to be the perfect boyfriend – even telling Gemma he wanted to marry her and be with her for ever.
But Gemma, 37, decided to walk when the 30-year-old put his carousing ahead of her, it is claimed.
A source close to Arg said fashion brand owner Gemma, worth a reported £2.7million, wanted a more serious lifestyle as she prepares to build a global presence.
The source said: “Gemma decided enough is enough. He didn’t keep his word on all the promises.
“She’s become very successful in building her brand and wants to carry that on and become a global household name. She’s frustrated Arg is still very much at a stage of partying hard and having fun.
“The two lifestyles don’t match, she’s a serious star and businesswoman. He promised a lot and delivered nothing.”
The on-off couple had decided to make another go of their relationship in April – and Gemma hoped it would be the happy ending she wanted.
She even started planning a family together as she looked to their future.
Meanwhile Arg was pictured two weeks ago partying in Majorca with a group of bikini-clad women – and with Gemma noticeably absent.
