18 die in heli horror smash

EIGHTEEN people have been killed in a helicopter crash in Russia.

It happened in the Krasnoyarsk Region in Siberia and the aircraft was reportedly transporting workers to an oil well.

The MI-8 plummetted after its propeller came into contact with the load of another copter mid-air.

The crash killed everybody on board – 15 passengers and three crew.

Black boxes have been retrieved and are being inspected by authorities.
