Man released in kill probe

A MAN aged 77 who was arrested over an exiled Seychelles politician’s killing has been released under investigation.

Gerard Hoarau was gunned down on his doorstep in London in 1985.

Scotland Yard said on Thursday a suspect had been arrested at 9.50am in Antrim on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He was released on Friday.

It comes after a 2016 review which brought fresh lines of inquiry.
