UNAI HAS GUNNERS GUESSING
UNAI EMERY will keep his Arsenal stars guessing about matchday line-ups until shortly before each game.
Former Gunners boss Arsene Wenger used to name his starting XI and substitutes a day in advance — at least — to give his players time to prepare mentally.
But the Spaniard will leave it as late as possible on a game day to reveal his side so that every member of his squad is focused as if he was going to play. That is just one of a number of changes made by the 46-year-old former Valencia, Sevilla and Paris Saint-germain boss (above) since his arrival in May.
Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin said: “Loads of things have changed.
“The training has been way different, we work on different things to how we did with Mr Wenger. Both coaches have completely different philosophies.
“We are getting used to it, working really hard. Everyone is really excited.”
