‘BACK SANE TO BOUNCE BACK’

BOSS Pep Guardiola has challenged Leroy Sane to bounce back from his World Cup snub with another top season.

The 22-year-old winger (right) had a sensational season as Manchester City stormed to a League and Cup double.

But he was controversially left out of Germany’s World Cup squad.

Guardiola said: “If he is able to overcome that situation, he will be a better player. So that is the target.

“He had an amazing season, and, if he is consistent, he will be back in the national team. Sooner or later, he is going to play in a European Cup and a World Cup.”
