BO CAN’T RISK GAME
DEDRYCK BOYATA will down tools and refuse to play for Celtic after a war of words erupted between the club and his agent.
The Belgian World Cup star (right) is out of the Champions League showdown with AEK Athens on Tuesday night.
And angry rep Jacques Liechtenstein has claimed the 27-year-old – in the final year of his deal – will no longer risk himself for the club, slating Celtic for reneging on promises in the wake of rejecting a £9m bid from Fulham.
With Sevilla and Lazio both still in contention for the stopper, he has almost certainly played his last game for the club. Liechtenstein said: “Entering the last 10 months of his contract, everyone understands that he can not put his career at risk by playing even slightly injured or at 95 per cent.”
