Skin deaths overtake Oz

More Brits are falling victim to skin cancer than Australian­s, despite the latter country having much high levels of sunshine annually.

Malignant melanoma killed 26,807 from 2007 to 2016, compared to 19,839 in Australia. It’s now the fifth most common deadly cancer in the UK. Cases are up sevenfold since the 70s.
