Cross-dresser gets jail term

A CROSS-DRESSER who attacked a doctor has been given a jail sentence.

Belfast Magistrates Court heard Norman Mckeown, 54, attacked a male medic while drunk in the Mater Hospital on May 16.

The defendant, from Vernon Street, South Belfast was sentenced to three months and also had a four-month unrelated term from last year activated. He was released on bail pending an appeal.
