00-overdue! Bond bosses fear 5yr gap

- BY JAMES DESBOROUGH

JAMES Bond movie bosses are to hold crisis talks to avoid a FIVE-YEAR gap between blockbusters.

The 25th 007 movie – made by Barbara Broccoli’s Eon Productions but financed by MGM Studios and Universal – is due out in November 2019.

But director Danny Boyle and writer John Hodge quit last week after reported clashes with star Daniel Craig.

MGM insist it must be out on time – four years after 2015’s Spectre. But with no agreement on an alternative script it may not be till November 2020.

A source said: “Barbara is adamant Bond is her baby and won’t be rushed. It’s squeaky bum time.”

The last long gap was from Licence to Kill in 1989 to 1995’s Goldeneye.
