Phone ‘dirtier than loo seat’

MOBILE phones can carry four times more bacteria than a toilet seat.

Scientists for a study by Insurance2go compared swabs from a loo seat and flush handle to those from phone screens and lock buttons. The screens had the highest levels of dodgy bacteria.

They warned it could lead to skin problems, causing acne and inflammation.
