A TURF TASK

-

BURNLEY face a daunting job to keep alive their first European campaign in more than half a century. A 3-1 defeat to Olympiakos in an ill-tempered Athens clash means the Clarets now have it all to do at Turf Moor on Thursday. But extra-time triumphs in the last two Europa League qualifying rounds have proved the spirit in Sean Dyche’s squad. A 2-0 win isn’t beyond Burnley, given the fiery Greek side were aided by some dodgy decisions. Dyche (left) describes Burnley’s European exploits as “a badge of honour”, but knows Premier League survival must be his main target.
