Dec’s baby girl already has a hold on Dad

DECLAN Donnelly is “head over heels” following the birth of his baby daughter.

The new dad says he and wife Ali, 40, are thrilled by the arrival of Isla Elizabeth Anne yesterday – and “Uncle Ant” can’t wait to meet her.

Sharing the news with a photo of her tiny hand holding his, Dec, 42, said: “Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning. Mother

and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels!” Best pal Ant Mcpartlin, 42, congratulated them, tweeting: “Welcome to the world baby Isla Elizabeth Anne. Can’t wait for cuddles. I love you already!! Uncle Ant xxxxx”

Baby Isla’s middle name is a nod to Dec’s mum Anne.

Speaking earlier this year about becoming a dad, Dec gushed: “I wish it would come out now, that we could fastforward to having the baby.”

Talent manager Ali met Dec more than a decade ago when she started working for him. They tied the knot in 2015.

The pregnancy news came after a tough time, with Ant convicted of drink driving.

Dec will soon have another new girl by his side, with Holly Willoughby confirmed as Ant’s I’m A Celeb stand-in.
