Two arrests as 100 turn up at party

TWO youths were arrested after a Friday night party got out of control when up to 100 teens turned up.

Locals in Leixlip, Co Kildare, reported “drinking and shouting” around Glen Easton estate with gardai blocking roads.

One resident wrote on Facebook: “It was like they all turned up to go to a house party!! I’d say 100 of them.”

Gardai said they called to the estate at around 10pm.

A spokesman added: “Gardai attended a call of a large disorderly crowd up around Glen Easton on August 31. Gardai arrested two youths for Public Order Offences.”
