Talk TV True-life story of two mums hit by atrocity

-

A powerful drama about the Warrington bombing starting tonight on RTE One will explore the atrocity from a very different angle.

is the true story of two mums on either side of the Irish Sea for whom the bomb had a profound impact. The attack 25 years ago marked the beginning of the end of The Troubles as shy Dubliner Susan Mchugh, played by Vicky Mcclure, pictured, brought thousands out to protest. Across the water was another mother, Wendy Parry, whose 13-year-old son Tim had been killed in the blast. Based on real events, this RTE/BBC production is not to be missed. It airs on RTE One tonight at 9.30pm and on BBC2 on Monday at 9pm.
