Terror smash mum is ready for North Run
A HORROR crash survivor will compete in today’s Great North Run.
In just 20 months, Naomi Hall made a miraculous recovery from injuries she said could have killed her “five times over.”
This morning she joins thousands in Newcastle for the 13-mile run, in aid of the life-saving North West Air Ambulance.
Its staff treated mum Naomi, 36, after her car hit two trees on the M58 near Skelmersdale, Lancs, in January 2017.
She broke a leg, arm, two ribs and two vertebrae. The broken ribs punctured a lung and her bowel was forced out of her body.
Naomi, of Eccles, Gtr Manchester, had to learn to walk and talk again and suffered memory issues and a changed personality.
