SANE BABY JOY

LEROY SANE was having a bawl yesterday after he became a dad. The 22-year-old winger revealed on social media that his girlfriend Candice Brook had given birth to their daughter called Rio Stella. Sane (above) said on Twitter: “Incredibly happy to let you know about the birth of my daughter last night. Mother and child are doing fine. “Special thank you to Germany and coach Jogi Low for letting me leave to be at my daughter’s birth.” The arrival is a welcome boost for a player who has had a difficult summer.

The Manchester City star – the PFA Young Player of the Year last season – was snubbed by Germany for the World Cup, left out by City against Newcastle last Saturday and had his attitude questioned by Germany team-mates.
