Love/hate star coming to big screen
Actor Kieran O’reilly A NEW Irish film written by and starring Love/hate actor Kieran O’reilly opens in cinemas next month.
For Molly hopes to give audiences a better understanding of the emotional aftermath of a shock cancer diagnosis – and the supports on offer.
The film, out on October 5, sees 39-year-old O’reilly, who is best known for his role as detective Ciaran Madden in the hit RTE drama, team up with director Cathal Kenna.
Mr Kenna said: “I approached Kieran with the concept. He really liked the idea and took on the duty of writing the script.
“He was moved by the story to the point that he turned up one week unexpectedly with a quarter of the script written.” Des Cahill
