Cold-call misery A MAN targeted by coldcalling conmen hit back by phoning them 50 times in a day to wind them up.
Joe Fisher, 44, realised HMRC officials demanding €1,500 in unpaid taxes last week were bogus.
Mr Fisher, of Ruislip, north-west London, said of his revenge: “At first they laughed it off. But after 50 times they were annoyed!
“In the end they were begging me to stop.”
The case was reported to Action Fraud and passed on to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.
