Brassed off over bronze

THREE women stole a €3,000 bronze statue of an ancient Greek soldier after distracting gallery staff.

Police said a “large woman” created a diversion as the others, aged 18 to 20, took the 1ft statue.

They struck as a delivery arrived at the gallery in Chichester, West Sussex.
