Lotto luck as four punters scoop €500k each in draw
Euromillions THREE shops sold winning Euromillions tickets in a Friday night that saw a record number of Irish players bagging cash.
Four punters each scooped €500,000 in the Euromillions Plus draw – three sold in stores and one online.
And now the National Lottery has revealed which magic shops sold the lucky golden tickets.
One was bought at Der O’sullivan’s Fine Food Store, Tralee, Co Kerry.
Another at Cecil’s Foodstore, The Square, Collooney, Co Sligo.
While the third was sold at Moss’s Spar Store, Killarney Road, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick, last Tuesday.
With so many Irish winners in Friday’s Euromillions draws, the National Lottery is now encouraging all its players to check their tickets.
A spokesman said: “The luck of the Irish certainly continues for our players in the Euromillions game.
“Players in Ireland are enjoying a bumper year in the Euromillions Plus game with 26 top prize winners of the €500,000 top prize.
“We look forward to welcoming all of last night’s big winners into National Lottery headquarters next week.”
