Kielty right to call out clown Bojo

-

PATRICK Kielty said what many have been itching to when he took a swipe at Boris Johnson over his Brexit comments.

Telling residents who live on another island not to worry their pretty little heads about something which will have direct consequences for them is a step too far.

Johnson’s off-the-cuff remarks suggesting Brexit is a win-win for everyone tipped funnyman Kielty over the edge – and who can blame him?

His own father was shot dead by loyalists during the Troubles so he has every right to put the UK politician straight on matters relating to the peace process.

Hundreds of British soldiers were among those killed during decades of bloodshed, but it’s almost as if it’s been wiped from memory for some living in Britain.

Comparing the border to the “border” between London City and Camden Town would be laughable if the issue were not so gravely serious.

Imagine if Irish politicians started trying to put UK residents straight about British history?

What do you think would be the outcome if we compared, say, the Battle of Hastings in 1066 to a mere case of handbags at dawn?

Perhaps if he did his research before shooting his mouth off he might avoid being dubbed the “ignoramus who triggered the break-up of the UK”.
