Leah: I made cannabis oil to stay alive
Cancer-stricken soap star Leah Bracknell says she broke the law to make cannabis oil – and claims it has kept her alive.
The mum of two, 54, credits the drug with slowing down the progress of terminal lung cancer.
And she says it has also boosted her quality of life by moderating the sideeffects of chemotherapy.
Leah wrote in a blog post: “Making the oil at home from the plant is as easy as baking a cake.
“I do not believe that I would be here without it.”
The ex-emmerdale star is begging the Government to legalise all cannabis for medical use to “benefit millions of people”.
Leah said she started using the oil two years ago but stopped a few months ago to start a drug trial.
